Every year the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences brings us
the “oh so waited for” Primetime Emmy Awards and, just like any awards ceremony,
the “oh so anticipated moment” would be the Red Carpet arrival of the stars.
From Sofia Vergara to Julia Roberts, passing by Berry and many
many more, one cannot ignore that anticipated feeling of seeing what they are
wearing: which designer would it be and what
would they look like. The stars become heroes for a night; the heroes inspiring
the next wedding girls will be attending and the next ball gown event they will
dance at this next season!
Cutting it short and to summarize it, here are some of the best
looks that I chose from the Red Carpet walk of this past Monday ( August 25th,
2014).
To
start, my favorite part is –and will always be- when I cross some of the stars
dressed by Lebanese designers. Not to sound very “cliché”, but that view make
me tingle and my eyes glow with pride

and Allison Janney was dressed by the one and only Nicolas Jebran.

As for me, my personal favorite was Julia's choice!
Usually I am not a fan of glittery cloths, far less a fan of
glittery dresses! But again, Gwen Stefani's look simply rocked. Appearing in an
outfit designed by Atelier Versace, her glittery look perfectly reflected her
twisted side while maintaining elegance and a very chic style at the same time.

And moving to Black: the color being called the “safest” choice
for an evening gown,it is yet, in my
opinion, the most critical to wear: you really need to know how to wear black
in order to shine in it.
Here are my favorite black dresses moments from the Red Carpet

Crowned by my favorite out
of all: Sarah Paulson in Arami Privé where the mix of red mist dots on the black gown simply
made the outfit look like a so not cold winter!

And then come the colors.
Colors, colors, and more colors! we might be close to fall season
but this year's fall/winter collections are full with colors, bright ones even!
And here are a few of the colorful dresses that I chose from the Emmy’s
ceremony (Keep in mind that I am not a
fan of colors).

And for what is the latest
trend this year "Crop Tops" they appeared on the Red Carpet through

No Red Carpet can go by without the sexy Sofia Vergara!
After choosing the Zac Posen black ball gown with the stunning
turquoise blue necklace to the Golden Globes 2014, I personally was impatiently
waiting to see what she will be pulling for the Emmys this year. Again, she did
not fail anyone in a Roberto Cavalli white form fitting gown. Sofia proved that
no matter what color or cut she chooses to wear, she simply looks phenomenal.

Oh well now… for any upcoming event you might be attending this
coming season, you now have a helpful yet confusing examples to look at. Confused still? Be daring, mix and match some
of the red carpet models and recreate some of the looks to better suit your
style… or simply, contact me for advise ;)
